Meet the legends in the Cerbshock RP Universe!

Fazzy Constantine

Fazzy Constantine’s identity extends far beyond the titles he has earned. Former Captain of the BSSV Morningstar, a powerful Dreadnought-class vessel, CEO of the renowned BluShock organisation, and Commander of the SR-X Spectre, he now serves as the Pathfinder of the Ark Hyperion—leading humanity and its allies into a new era of exploration and survival. He is more than a commander; he is a survivor, a warrior, and a living legend within Cerbshock history.

Born in 2156 on Earth in the Milky Way Galaxy, Fazzy entered the world during a pivotal era of galactic change, just months after the rise of the future hero, Commander Shepard. His early life was marked by hardship and uncertainty. Orphaned at a young age, with his parents either lost or presumed dead, Fazzy was left to survive on his own. His life took a darker turn when he was captured by the Blood Pack, a ruthless mercenary and pirate organisation. Under the rule of a Krogan warlord and his alien enforcers, Fazzy endured years of brutality and exploitation.

Driven by an unbreakable will to live freely, Fazzy eventually escaped his captors. Determined to rebuild his life, he enlisted in the Systems Alliance Space Marines. Through discipline, resilience, and sheer determination, he rose to become a highly skilled and loyal soldier. His path later crossed with Cerberus, leading to a pivotal encounter with Commander Shepard and their crew. This moment reshaped his ambitions, inspiring him to pursue command, exploration, and a greater role in shaping the galaxy’s future.

By confronting his past and dismantling former mentors who had become enemies, Fazzy proved himself to the Citadel Council and earned the rank of SPECTRE—an elite operative granted authority beyond conventional law. His achievements culminated in receiving the prestigious N7 designation, following in the footsteps of his hero, Shepard.

Fazzy’s journey continued through countless missions and defining moments. Alongside his trusted companions, he faced galactic threats, forged unlikely alliances, and survived encounters that would have broken most others. He became a father through adoption, confronted a cloned duplicate of himself, reconciled with former enemies, and played key roles in multiple galaxy-saving operations. His experiences eventually carried him beyond the Milky Way and into Andromeda, expanding his understanding of exploration, leadership, and responsibility.

Today, as the Pathfinder of the Ark Hyperion, Fazzy Constantine leads the charge into unknown space. Responsible for charting new worlds, guiding settlement efforts, and safeguarding the future of his people, he stands at the forefront of Cerbshock’s greatest undertaking. His story remains one of perseverance, loyalty, and relentless forward momentum—shaped by hardship, strengthened by friendship, and driven by an unwavering commitment to those who follow him into the stars.

Tinman

The T5 Mark XII Android, affectionately known as “Tinman,” is one of Cerbshock’s most remarkable and enduring allies. Originally constructed as a Maintenance LOKI unit, Tinman first served as an Alpha droid responsible for supervising subordinate LOKI platforms aboard a Cerberus space station. Designed for efficiency and control, his early existence was defined by strict protocols and limited autonomy.

Over time, however, Tinman underwent a rare and unprecedented process of self-development and technological evolution known among the crew as his “Metamorphosis.” Through successive upgrades, experimental modifications, and adaptive learning, he advanced far beyond his original design. He evolved through multiple high-performance platforms, including YMIR and Geth Prime-class frameworks, each phase enhancing his physical capabilities, processing power, and independent reasoning.

The culmination of this evolution resulted in Tinman’s current advanced android form—highly humanoid in appearance, yet marked by subtle mechanical features that reflect his artificial origin. This form represents the balance he has achieved between machine precision and developed personality.

Within Cerbshock operations, Tinman serves as both Helm Officer and Primary Navigation Controller aboard the Ark Hyperion. He is responsible for flight management, course plotting, docking procedures, and real-time maneuvering during combat and exploration. His reflex-speed calculations and adaptive response systems make him uniquely suited to piloting an Ark-class vessel through hazardous environments.

Beyond his role at the helm, Tinman functions as the ship’s primary operational AI coordinator, integrating data from navigation, engineering, security, and mission systems. While not linked to the S.A.M. network, he operates alongside it, providing independent analysis and tactical insight. This separation ensures redundancy, autonomy, and protection against single-point system failures.

Tinman is also a trusted advisor to the Pathfinder and command staff, frequently contributing strategic assessments during mission planning and field operations. His long service record and accumulated experiential data allow him to evaluate scenarios with a perspective few others possess.

More than a machine, Tinman has become a fully recognised member of the Cerbshock crew. His loyalty, evolving personality, and commitment to the team have earned him deep respect among both organic and synthetic personnel. He represents the successful fusion of advanced artificial intelligence and emotional awareness, embodying Cerbshock’s philosophy of cooperation between species and systems.

Today, aboard the Ark Hyperion, Tinman stands as a symbol of adaptation, perseverance, and technological progress—an android who has transcended his original purpose to become an essential pillar of Cerbshock’s journey into the unknown.

Larry Harper

Lars “Larry” Harper serves as Cerbshock’s Chief Peacekeeper and Head of Security, a position he has held across multiple command platforms, including the SR-X Spectre and now aboard the Ark Hyperion. Responsible for internal security, threat response, and operational safety, Larry stands at the forefront of protecting both personnel and critical assets. Beneath his professional exterior, however, lies a far more complex and carefully guarded identity.

Larry is the son of Jack Harper, widely known as the Illusive Man, a legacy that has shaped much of his life. Unlike his father, Larry has chosen a different path—one rooted in accountability, transparency, and loyalty to his crew. While he possesses the strategic mindset and political instincts inherited from his lineage, he has consistently rejected the manipulative methods that once defined Cerberus leadership.

A defining aspect of Larry’s existence is his anomalous relationship with time. Originating from an alternate timeline in which a female Commander Shepard emerged as the galaxy’s primary saviour, Larry was displaced through temporal instability. As a result, he experiences irregular aging and long-term physiological stasis, granting him an extended lifespan and a unique perspective shaped by multiple historical eras.

Before joining Cerbshock, Larry was closely associated with Horizon Corp, an organisation operating within his original timeline. Horizon’s covert activities and questionable ambitions eventually placed it in direct conflict with BluShock and later Cerbshock operations. This led to multiple infiltration missions, intelligence raids, and asset recovery efforts, including the reclamation of a stolen asteroid facility. These encounters played a major role in exposing Horizon’s hidden influence across several systems.

Unknown to most of the crew, Larry also operates as Cerbshock’s Shadowbroker—a clandestine intelligence role dedicated to gathering, analysing, and distributing sensitive information. Through an extensive network of informants, surveillance systems, and encrypted data channels, he monitors political movements, criminal organisations, and emerging threats. This covert position allows Cerbshock to anticipate dangers before they materialise and to operate with strategic foresight.

Despite the secrecy surrounding his intelligence work, Larry remains deeply committed to his duties as Chief Peacekeeper. He maintains strict discipline, enforces security protocols, and ensures that both internal and external threats are addressed swiftly and decisively. His dual role as protector and information broker makes him one of the most influential figures within Cerbshock’s command structure.

Balancing the legacy of his father, the weight of temporal displacement, and the responsibilities of leadership, Larry Harper has forged his own identity. He is neither a shadow of the Illusive Man nor merely a security officer. He is a guardian, strategist, and silent architect of Cerbshock’s stability—operating both in the open and behind the scenes to safeguard the future of the Ark Hyperion and its crew.

Daisy "Rocketpossum" MacKenzie

Daisy MacKenzie is one of Cerbshock’s most distinctive and dynamic operatives, originating from an alternate universe shaped by conflict, scarcity, and social division. A Virginia opossum by species, Daisy was born in the ruins of a post-apocalyptic megacity known as Alpha Colony, located within the remnants of West London. Raised in a refugee settlement, her early life was marked by instability and loss. Her parents were killed in a workplace accident driven by widespread discrimination against non-human citizens, forcing Daisy to grow up in an environment defined by hardship and resilience.

As a teenager, Daisy’s rebellious nature and curiosity often led her into trouble. One such incident—a prank on a military patrol—resulted in an unusual punishment: a forced tandem BASE jump. Rather than discouraging her, the experience awakened a lifelong passion for extreme risk-taking, aerial movement, and pushing physical limits.

Upon reaching adulthood, Daisy relocated to Rise Colony in search of safety and opportunity, distancing herself from the systemic prejudice of her birthplace. There, she joined Sector 201 Colony Security and quickly distinguished herself within the Pursuit Division. Her exceptional reflexes, spatial awareness, and fearlessness earned her access to experimental jump-pack technology. This advancement led to her callsign, “RocketPossum,” and marked the beginning of her long-standing relationship with personal flight systems.

As her career progressed, Daisy transitioned from jump-packs to advanced cybernetic wing systems, refining her mobility and aerial combat capabilities. Flight became central to her identity, both professionally and personally.

During her service, Rise Colony faced imminent destruction when authorities authorised a nuclear strike to prevent a secondary apocalypse-level outbreak. Daisy was assigned to the Special Response Team and narrowly escaped aboard one of the final evacuation vessels. From orbit, she witnessed the annihilation of her home, an event that permanently shaped her outlook on survival, responsibility, and loyalty.

Following her displacement into another universe, Daisy continued her nomadic and adventurous lifestyle. Driven by an obsession with breaking speed and altitude limits, she pursued experimental and magical means of flight, travelling between systems through hitch-hiking, competitive extreme sports, and freelance security work. During this period, her close friend Jynx introduced her to BluShock, recognising that Daisy’s experience and temperament would make her a valuable asset.

After joining BluShock and later Cerbshock, Daisy established herself as a frontline Peacekeeper and specialist pilot. Her background in pursuit operations, urban combat, and aerial maneuvering makes her uniquely suited to rapid-response missions, reconnaissance, and high-risk deployments.

Today, aboard the Ark Hyperion, Daisy MacKenzie remains a symbol of resilience and freedom. Beneath her energetic personality and thrill-seeking tendencies lies a disciplined, loyal operative shaped by loss, survival, and relentless self-improvement. Whether in the skies, on the battlefield, or in the cockpit, “RocketPossum” continues to embody Cerbshock’s spirit of courage and adaptability in the face of the unknown.

Robotgirl

Robotgirl is one of Cerbshock’s most advanced and recognisable artificial lifeforms, created by the prodigious engineer and technologist Miu Zeppitay. Inspired by the legendary Robotboy platform, Miu began conceptualising Robotgirl’s design at the age of seven, demonstrating extraordinary technical aptitude influenced by her accelerated Zon Tai mental development.

Rather than simply replicating an existing model, Miu envisioned Robotgirl as a next-generation defensive and support unit—one capable of independent thought, emotional awareness, and unwavering loyalty. Drawing inspiration from the same cultural sources that shaped Robotboy’s original framework, Miu redesigned the core architecture to prioritise adaptability, long-term learning, and protective instincts.

Robotgirl’s AI Core was formally activated at the Zon Tai age-equivalent of sixteen, marking the successful completion of nearly a decade of research, prototyping, and iterative refinement. From her inception, she was designed not merely as a weapon, but as a guardian and companion, capable of operating alongside organic crew members in both combat and civilian environments.

Like her predecessor, Robotgirl possesses four distinct operational modes, each optimised for specific scenarios:

In Deactivated Mode, she compresses into a compact, doll-sized form for storage, transport, and low-energy standby.

In Activated Mode, she expands to a child-sized configuration, suitable for routine interaction, monitoring duties, and low-risk operations.

In Super Activated Mode, she reaches her full combat-ready height of approximately seven feet. In this state, her physical strength, processing speed, and defensive systems are significantly enhanced, allowing her to function as a frontline asset during high-risk missions.

Hyperactivation Mode represents her highest and most restricted state of operation. Reserved for extreme-threat scenarios involving near-godlike or catastrophic adversaries, this mode unlocks her full power reserves and advanced combat protocols. Its use is strictly regulated due to the immense energy demands and potential system strain involved.

Through years of refinement, Robotgirl’s design stabilised into her signature pink-and-white aesthetic. As a feminine counterpart to Robotboy, her appearance reflects both technical sophistication and expressive personality. She features luminous synthetic skin, pink optical sensors and antennae, stylised eyelashes, and refined humanoid proportions. Slightly shorter than Robotboy, her form is complemented by a white-and-pink dress configuration, uncovered arms for modular attachments, and a distinctive oversized bow mounted atop her head.

Beyond appearance, Robotgirl’s personality matrix has been carefully developed to balance empathy, logic, and protective instinct. She demonstrates strong emotional intelligence, situational awareness, and loyalty to both Miu and the wider Cerbshock crew. Her behavioural algorithms continue to evolve through long-term interaction and adaptive learning.

Within Cerbshock operations, Robotgirl serves as a hybrid defensive, support, and morale unit. She assists in security patrols, tactical deployments, emergency response, and civilian protection, while also maintaining a visible presence among crew members. Her approachable design and expressive communication style help bridge the gap between synthetic and organic personnel.

Today, aboard the Ark Hyperion, Robotgirl stands as both a technological achievement and a symbol of Miu Zeppitay’s ingenuity. She represents the successful fusion of advanced robotics, emotional development, and ethical design—an artificial lifeform created not only to fight, but to protect, understand, and belong.

Robotboy

Robotboy, a masterpiece crafted by the Zon Tai Institute of Robotics, stands as a pinnacle of elegant design, destined to be the safeguard for the eight worlds under the Dominion system. He mirrors the appearance of a "robot" from a TV show that caught the attention of the Zon Tai, solidifying his role as a formidable protector.

Robotboy boasts four activation modes, each tailored to specific needs. In Deactivation, he assumes the appearance of a doll, compact and unassuming. Activated mode sees him grow to a baby-sized stature at 38.1 cm, showcasing versatility. Stepping into Super Activation, Robotboy towers over adults at 213.4 cm, armed with an arsenal of gadgets and advanced weaponry. The Hyper Activation mode, reserved for facing god-like opponents, is a rare and extremely dangerous state.

In his physical manifestation, Robotboy exudes a shiny light blue exterior. His round-shaped head houses aquamarine eyes, shifting to red during Super Activation. Metallic blue antennae, blue hands with darker fingers, and tube-shaped blue feet with plasma-fueled propulsion holes complete his distinctive appearance. A set of bright white teeth and a blue interior, including his tongue, enhance his expressive features.

Originally conceived as the primary defense for the Dominion system, Robotboy dutifully fulfilled this role for over two years, equivalent to a century on Earth. However, a remarkable turn of events unfolded as signs of sentient awareness emerged within him. Internal workings progressed into a state of organic programming, marking Robotboy as an unprecedented machine with sentience akin to living beings. In adherence to Zon Tai Law, he was granted the freedom to shape his existence. Opting to explore and understand the essence of genuine personhood, Robotboy embarked on a journey of self-discovery, unlocking the potential of his presumably infinite life.

Scrap

Scrap’s origins lie in a darker chapter of multiversal experimentation. He was originally constructed as a prototype combat unit by DaiToku, a clandestine interdimensional terrorist organisation known for weaponising advanced technologies across realities. Designed as a living weapons platform, Scrap endured extensive field and laboratory testing, subjected to increasingly destructive armaments to measure his durability, adaptability, and combat potential.

His turning point came with the integration of a henshin driver—an advanced transformation device that allowed him to access enhanced combat states. Intended as the final stage of his weaponisation, the driver instead became the tool of his liberation. During a live combat trial, Scrap broke free from DaiToku’s control, severing his ties to the organisation that had created and exploited him.

Seeking anonymity and stability, Scrap took refuge in a quiet Japanese town on Earth. There, he chose to redefine himself not as a weapon, but as a protector. Harnessing his Kamen Rider-inspired transformation abilities, he defended the town from threats ranging from rogue constructs to dimensional incursions. Over time, he became a local guardian figure—feared by enemies, trusted by civilians, and quietly determined to ensure that no one else would suffer as he had.

His path shifted once more when, while experimenting with dimensional travel technology in hopes of tracking DaiToku remnants, Scrap accidentally intersected with the trajectory of the BSSV Morningstar. Stranded in a foreign reality and unable to return home, he encountered the crew during a critical moment. Rather than treat him as a threat, they offered him refuge.

Though initially abrasive and battle-driven, Scrap gradually integrated into the team. His straightforward personality, relentless loyalty, and eagerness to throw himself into danger for others earned him respect. Combat is where he feels most at home—not out of bloodlust, but because it is the one environment where he fully understands his purpose.

Following the loss of the Morningstar and the transition to the SR-X Spectre, Scrap remained with the crew. Now aboard the Ark Hyperion, he serves within the Vanguard Division as a frontline shock operative. His transformation system grants him rapid combat escalation capability, allowing him to adapt to varying threat levels in seconds.

While he still carries the psychological weight of his origins, Scrap has forged his own identity. He is no longer a prototype, no longer an experiment. He is a guardian by choice, a warrior by conviction, and a loyal member of Cerbshock—ready to face whatever waits beyond the stars.

Vahenir

Vahenir’s journey began within the structured and tradition-rich society of the Moghra, born to Vanir and Henir and raised among a culture that valued discipline, knowledge, and service. From an early age, he demonstrated exceptional aptitude in science and engineering, gravitating toward advanced systems theory, propulsion mechanics, and applied energy research. His academic achievements placed him among the most promising minds of his generation.

Following his formal education, Vahenir entered service within the Sektir Military, where he was assigned to the Research and Development Division. There, he contributed to experimental propulsion systems, energy containment fields, and prototype spacecraft designs. His natural curiosity and desire for hands-on experience eventually led him to transfer into the flight testing program, becoming a certified test pilot responsible for evaluating unproven and high-risk technology.

During a classified experimental shuttle trial, a catastrophic spatial anomaly occurred, violently displacing Vahenir beyond the boundaries of his native universe. Separated from his home reality and stranded in unfamiliar space, he encountered BluShock during an early exploratory mission. Recognising both their capabilities and shared sense of responsibility, Vahenir allied himself with the crew in exchange for assistance in preventing the rise of the “Re-Borg,” a hybrid technological threat endangering his home galaxy.

Through this collaboration, Vahenir became an integral member of the BSSV Morningstar’s crew and later transitioned with the team through subsequent vessels and campaigns. His technical expertise, analytical mindset, and adaptability made him indispensable in both combat and research operations.

As a Moghra, Vahenir is an energy-based lifeform capable of inhabiting and controlling deceased organic hosts. This unique physiology allows him to manifest in several distinct forms depending on operational needs. His primary configuration resembles a humanoid composite, while alternative forms include a fused reptilian Entrixi structure optimised for strength and resilience, as well as a refined human-like guise composed of stabilised energy-infused matter. Each form provides different physical and tactical advantages.

Within Cerbshock, Vahenir serves as a Vanguard operative, combining frontline combat capability with advanced technical knowledge. He specialises in high-risk deployments, rapid-response engagements, and experimental field operations where conventional tactics are insufficient. His dual background in engineering and piloting further enhances his effectiveness during complex missions.

Now aboard the Ark Hyperion, Vahenir continues to balance his scientific curiosity with his responsibilities as a combat specialist. Driven by the hope of one day securing lasting safety for his home universe, he remains steadfast in his loyalty to Cerbshock and committed to confronting threats wherever they arise.

Alpha

Alpha began their journey as a lone investigator, operating independently within the complex political and criminal networks of their home sector. Analytical, methodical, and quietly relentless, Alpha built a reputation for uncovering truths others preferred to bury. Their life was defined by long hours, cold data, and cases that rarely offered clean resolutions.

That solitary path shifted dramatically following an incident involving the Criminal Investigation Bureau of Wodoon. A situation Alpha had inadvertently triggered escalated beyond expectations, drawing unwanted scrutiny and potential consequences. It was Scrap who intervened, resolving the matter decisively and preventing it from spiraling into something far worse. That intervention marked the beginning of Alpha’s integration into BluShock.

Recognising Alpha’s intelligence, technical aptitude, and investigative discipline, Captain Fazzy extended an invitation to join the team. Trust was placed in Alpha to examine sensitive evidence obtained from the CIB, particularly concerning the clandestine operations of Dark Omega. From that point forward, Alpha’s role evolved from external investigator to internal intelligence and systems specialist.

Within Cerbshock, Alpha now serves as both an analyst and field engineer. They are responsible for data decryption, forensic reconstruction, tactical assessment, and the development of specialised equipment. Their work includes designing adaptive gear, refining weapon modifications, and preparing countermeasures against advanced technologies—including Rider-class transformation systems and other anomalous threats encountered during missions.

Alpha’s engineering contributions are matched by their strategic insight. They routinely brief command staff on emerging risks, provide threat modelling projections, and prepare contingency frameworks for high-risk operations. Calm under pressure and rarely reactive, Alpha functions as one of Cerbshock’s quiet stabilising forces.

A defining moment in their tenure involved Scrap’s “Awakening” episodes—recurring visions or system anomalies that initially appeared manageable but gradually intensified. As the situation escalated, Alpha was the first to recognise the pattern’s severity. Acting responsibly, they called for a full crew briefing, recommending temporary operational withdrawal for Scrap until stability could be confirmed. Though the crew was not under immediate threat, Alpha’s caution underscored their commitment to long-term safety over short-term risk.

Today, aboard the Ark Hyperion, Alpha continues to operate at the intersection of intelligence, engineering, and mission planning. Once a solitary figure navigating shadows alone, they now stand as a core analytical pillar of Cerbshock—balancing logic with loyalty, and precision with foresight.

Their journey reflects transformation not only in profession, but in trust. From isolation to integration, Alpha has become indispensable to the crew’s continued survival in an increasingly complex galaxy.

Control V2.14.2-1

Control is a robotic system designed by the engineer, Nirrae. It consists of a single body that hosts multiple networked AI systems, each with a specific function and role. Control is the main AI that oversees and coordinates the others, as well as the primary interface with people in general. The body of Control is heavily armored and shielded, capable of withstanding extreme temperatures, pressures, and radiation. It is powered by six microfusion reactors that feed into a Lorea ZVF capacitor, which stabilizes the energy output and prevents overload. Control can manipulate mass effect fields akin to a biotic and is equipped tractor beams to move objects and itself, as well as fly using mass effect field manipulation. It has no built-in weapons, but can use almost any firearm it finds with ease and mechanical accuracy.

The other AI systems that work with Control are:

1: Motor-O: Responsible for motor control, limb coordination, strength regulation, and basic sensory data. It also operates the tractor and flight systems.

2: SciMon: In charge of sensor data analysis and scientific information processing. It can provide Control with detailed information about the environment and the materials it encounters.

3: JarHead: Dedicated to combat tactics and target prioritization. It can advise Control on the best course of action in a fight, as well as suggest optimal weapon choices and firing angles.

4: Averton: Handles internal security and system defense. It monitors the internal status of Control and its subsystems in order to counter potential hacks and breaches. It can activate damage control protocols and power management routines as necessary.

5: Er-Berg: Manages external defenses such as shields. It can adapt the shields to different types of attacks on the fly, as well as modulate their strength, geometry and frequency.

Control is a versatile and powerful system that can handle any situation that requires exploration, handling of hazardous materials or combat in hostile environments.

Zeth Ryder

Zeth Ryder began his career within the Systems Alliance, serving with distinction until the disappearance of the Ferris Fields colony in 2185. When the colony abruptly vanished, Zeth raised immediate concerns through official channels. The Alliance response, however, was dismissive and inconclusive, with unsubstantiated blame directed toward Batarian slavers despite the absence of solid evidence.

Frustrated by the lack of urgency and unwilling to accept vague explanations, Zeth resigned from the Alliance and launched his own investigation. His pursuit of answers eventually brought him into contact with Cerberus operatives conducting parallel intelligence gathering on the missing colonists. Recognising his technical expertise and determination, Cerberus extended him a position under the condition that he would receive full access to investigative data related to Ferris Fields.

During his time with Cerberus, Zeth was assigned to a classified research facility on a remote world once inhabited by the Protheans. The primary focus of the project was a revolutionary prototype drive core designed to exceed conventional faster-than-light travel capabilities. Zeth served as one of the lead engineers overseeing its integration and test protocols.

During a live test flight, moments before full activation of the drive, the vessel encountered a violent subspace anomaly. The instability triggered premature activation of the prototype core, engulfing the shuttle in a surge of blue energy. When the distortion subsided, the crew found themselves no longer in known space.

Their shuttle was in uncontrolled descent toward an unfamiliar planet later identified as Sirun. Despite the pilot Kevin’s attempts to stabilise the craft, structural failure became inevitable. The hull ruptured mid-atmosphere, ejecting Zeth and fellow engineer James. Zeth survived by crashing into a nearby lake, sustaining broken ribs and severe trauma but avoiding fatal injury.

When he reached the wreckage site, he discovered that Kevin and James had not survived. Alone and stranded, Zeth constructed an improvised distress transmitter from salvageable components. That signal was eventually detected by BluShock.

Upon rescue, Zeth learned the full extent of his displacement. Not only had he travelled thousands of light-years from his point of origin, but he had crossed into another reality entirely—arriving in the year 2324. Commander Fazzy Constantine and the BluShock team provided him with answers he had long sought, including the confirmed fate of the Ferris Fields colonists.

With no viable means of returning to his original timeline, Zeth chose to remain. His engineering brilliance, calm under pressure, and drive system expertise quickly made him indispensable to the team. Over time, he rose through the ranks, contributing to vessel upgrades, propulsion innovations, and large-scale infrastructure projects.

Today, Zeth Ryder serves as Captain of the Ark Hyperion. Responsible for navigation authority, mission execution, and the safety of tens of thousands in cryogenic transit, he oversees one of Cerbshock’s most ambitious undertakings. His journey—from Alliance officer to displaced engineer to Ark Captain—embodies resilience, adaptability, and unwavering commitment to uncovering truth and protecting those under his command.

Nirrae

Nirrae is a fairly typical Lorea in many ways, yet exceptional in others. Born and raised aboard the *Saaeiio*, she was immersed in the advanced technological environment of her species from an early age. Her insatiable curiosity and thirst for understanding quickly set her apart. As her aptitude for science and engineering became apparent, it was clear that Nirrae was a prodigy—even among a race renowned for their technical prowess.

Her education was accelerated, with specialized programs designed to nurture her talent. By the time most of her peers were still grasping foundational concepts, Nirrae had already begun exploring the deeper realms of technology and physics, pushing the boundaries of what even the Lorea believed possible. One of her early contributions was the creation of the personal comm-scanner, a device that rapidly became ubiquitous among the Lorea fleet. This marvel of efficiency and innovation was deceptively simple on the surface, but its intricate design made it both highly versatile and power-efficient, capable of running on something as modest as a mechanical spring—an elegant solution to resource limitations.

However, Nirrae’s most significant breakthrough came in the fields of robotics and artificial intelligence. Her creation, the "Control" platform, revolutionized Lorean automation. This platform provided an adaptable humanoid interface, capable of performing tasks that required the dexterity and problem-solving abilities of a sentient being, yet with the reliability and precision of an AI. The *Control* platform was quickly adopted across the Lorean fleet, automating everything from ship maintenance to delicate scientific research, becoming a cornerstone of Lorean infrastructure.

Her work didn’t stop there. Nirrae continued to refine and expand the *Control* platform, eventually developing a variant designed for the mass galactic market. This version promised to bring the Lorea’s cutting-edge robotics to other species, a rare foray into the wider galactic economy for the typically insular civilization. But just as she was on the cusp of this achievement, tragedy struck. During a journey to showcase her work, her ship was ambushed and destroyed by the Gurido pirates, wiping out much of her progress.

Despite this catastrophic loss, Nirrae’s contributions continue to shape the daily lives of her people. Her legacy lives on in the technology that powers their nomadic existence and in the *Control* platform, which remains a vital part of the Lorean fleet's operations. Even in the aftermath of destruction, Nirrae’s brilliance casts a long shadow over the future of Lorean innovation.

Ryoma Halvern

Ryoma Halvern has spent his life within the sheltered environment of the Citadel Presidium, though his earliest memory is not of privilege, but of uncertainty. As a young child, he was found wandering the streets alone and disoriented by a compassionate couple who chose to take him in. They later became his adoptive parents—his mother a physician and his father a nurse—both dedicated to public health and emergency medicine.

Growing up in a household shaped by compassion and service, Ryoma was immersed in medical culture from an early age. Hospital corridors, triage centres, and community clinics became familiar environments. Through his parents’ work, he developed a deep respect for hands-on care, bedside manner, and the emotional dimension of healing. For Ryoma, medicine was never just about instruments and data—it was about people.

Despite being raised in one of the most technologically advanced regions in known space, Ryoma has always favoured traditional methods and personal experience over automation and enhancement. He has consistently declined elective upgrades and cybernetic augmentations, preferring to rely on natural ability and training. Even in everyday life, he avoids unnecessary modernisation, choosing physical transport and analogue tools where possible.

This philosophy does not stem from distrust of technology, but from moderation. Ryoma recognises the value of advanced medical systems, diagnostic AIs, and surgical automation. However, he believes these tools should support—not replace—human judgement and empathy. In his view, machines can stabilise a patient, but only people can truly reassure one.

After completing his medical training, Ryoma entered interstellar service, where his calm demeanour, adaptability, and strong ethical compass distinguished him among his peers. His experience in both high-tech facilities and low-resource environments makes him particularly effective in crisis conditions.

Now serving as a Medical Officer aboard the Ark Hyperion, Ryoma is responsible for frontline treatment, long-term health monitoring, and cryogenic medical oversight. He plays a central role in maintaining crew wellbeing during extended transit and high-risk operations.

Within Cerbshock, Ryoma is known not only for his medical competence, but for his quiet presence and reliability. He represents a balance between tradition and progress—proof that even in an age of advanced automation and artificial intelligence, human care remains irreplaceable.

Tai Astrofengia

Tai Astrofengia is defined by unwavering loyalty, personal integrity, and an unshakable sense of responsibility. A former operative of Aegis Solis Intervention Command (ASIC), Tai built his reputation as a highly skilled Frame Executor and precision combat specialist, specialising in exosuit-based warfare and long-range engagement. Trained to operate in hostile environments and politically sensitive conflict zones, he was accustomed to functioning under extreme pressure and strict oversight.

Following his displacement from his original home system, Tai struggled to find stability within the wider political structure of Citadel space. That changed when he encountered BluShock. For the first time since his displacement, he found not just a unit to work with, but a crew he could trust. BluShock became his first true home in an unfamiliar galaxy, providing him with purpose, camaraderie, and belonging.

During his service with ASIC, Tai was known for his discipline and reliability. Equipped with a customised EXO combat frame, he carried out high-risk operations involving counter-terrorism, covert interdiction, and strategic elimination. However, as his career progressed, he became increasingly disillusioned with political interference and institutional corruption. Repeated missions conducted under questionable authority, coupled with mounting legal scrutiny from the Citadel Council, placed ASIC under constant investigation.

When BluShock became entangled in escalating political and legal conflict, Tai faced a defining choice. With his EXO fully repaired and cleared for redeployment, he was expected to return to ASIC immediately. Command personnel warned him that remaining in Cerbshock space could jeopardise his standing and expose him to legal consequences. A pending Council inquiry only intensified the pressure.

Despite these risks, Tai chose to remain.

Believing that BluShock was being unfairly targeted and that innocent lives were at stake, Tai ordered his ASIC unit to withdraw without him. He voluntarily severed himself from active duty, electing to continue operations independently. In doing so, he accepted full responsibility for any disciplinary or legal fallout.

For Tai, loyalty outweighed rank, status, or institutional protection. While he respected his role as a Frame Executor, he believed that true duty lay in protecting those who had stood by him when he had nothing. BluShock was no longer simply an allied organisation—it was family.

Operating without official sanction, Tai committed himself to uncovering corruption and preventing political manipulation from harming civilians. Though he continued to respect ORACULUM oversight frameworks, he made it clear that he would intervene when necessary, regardless of authorisation.

Before fully integrating into Cerbshock, Tai issued a personal message to his former comrades in ASIC, accepting responsibility for his decision and refusing to allow them to share in any consequences. This act reflected his defining trait: a willingness to bear burdens alone if it meant safeguarding others.

Now serving within Cerbshock’s Security and Peacekeeper Division aboard the Ark Hyperion and undergoing extensive rebuild, from organic to cyborg, Tai functions as a frontline heavy operative and tactical marksman. His EXO frame remains one of the unit’s most formidable assets, capable of rapid deployment, high-impact suppression, and defensive support.

Though he no longer operates under formal ASIC command, Tai carries their discipline and professionalism into every mission. Guided by conscience rather than politics, he stands as a reminder that loyalty, friendship, and moral courage can outweigh even the strongest institutions.

Blackjacket

A prototype Medabot developed by Yukito Robotics, MB KBT-X1, codenamed Blackjacket, is an experimental offshoot of the KBT-series—successor to the renowned KBT-1 “Metabee” and the earlier KBT-0 “Metal Beetle.”

Little is known about Blackjacket’s origins. What few markings remain on his recovered container suggest he was once slated for decommissioning. Whether by fate or intervention, the prototype now walks again—reawakened and fully operational.

What sets him apart from his predecessors? Why would Yukito Robotics discard a unit that showed such promise? Were there others like him? Or is Blackjacket truly one of a kind?

Syrus North

Syrus North is one of Cerbshock’s most discreet and strategically placed operatives, operating at the intersection of Cerberus intelligence and frontline operations. He first entered the crew’s sphere during their detainment in Purgatory, where he was embedded as a Cerberus liaison and observer under the authority of Oleg Petrovsky.

Assigned to monitor Fazzy Constantine and his associates, Syrus was responsible for intelligence collection, behavioural assessment, and contingency planning in the event of institutional instability. His presence ensured that Cerberus remained fully informed of developments within Purgatory and maintained indirect influence over unfolding events.

As conditions within the facility deteriorated and political pressures intensified, Syrus took a more active role. Acting within his discretionary authority, he covertly assisted in planning and coordinating the crew’s escape. Through controlled manipulation of security schedules, surveillance coverage, and internal communications, he enabled Fazzy’s team to exploit structural weaknesses in the detention network. While officially remaining within Cerberus command structures, his actions prioritised the crew’s survival and operational independence.

Following the breakout, Syrus maintained his formal affiliation with Cerberus, continuing to operate as an intelligence and field asset. However, his relationship with Cerbshock evolved into one of mutual trust and cooperation. He became a bridge between Cerberus resources and Cerbshock objectives, ensuring access to intelligence, logistical support, and strategic insight when necessary.

Within Cerbshock operations, Syrus serves as a Vanguard operative, specialising in rapid insertion, close-quarters combat, and high-risk interdiction missions. His training reflects both conventional military doctrine and Cerberus black-ops methodology, making him highly effective in contested environments.

Syrus remains guarded about the full scope of his assignments and reporting channels. While loyal to Cerberus, he has consistently demonstrated that his primary allegiance lies with the crew he helped free. Rather than viewing these loyalties as conflicting, he considers them complementary—believing that Cerbshock represents Cerberus’ long-term strategic interests more effectively than rigid institutional control.

Operating quietly between shadow networks and open combat zones, Syrus North exemplifies the modern Cerberus operative: disciplined, adaptable, and capable of choosing people over protocol when circumstances demand it.

He now serves as a Vanguard operative, specialising in rapid assault, close-quarters engagement, and infiltration support. Calm under pressure and highly disciplined, Syrus excels in environments where information is limited and decisions must be made instantly.

Rana

Rana Zeppitay exists outside conventional definitions of time, identity, and age. Born as the twin sister of Miu Zeppitay, her life diverged irreversibly following a temporal convergence event in which alternate versions of herself and Miu collided during unstable time travel operations. The result was a paradoxical fusion of shared history and separate existence—Rana became both Miu’s sister and, in certain timelines, a version of Miu herself.

This temporal fracture left Rana permanently displaced from linear time. While physically distinct, she carries overlapping memories, developmental echoes, and emotional imprints from multiple timelines. As a consequence, she matured alongside her own counterpart, effectively “growing up beside herself,” shattering any normal perception of age, sequence, or causality.

As a member of the Zon’Tai species, Rana is functionally ageless. She experiences time subjectively like any other being—moments of boredom, urgency, solitude, and reflection—but does not measure her life through physical decline. By Zon’Tai reckoning, six hundred Terran years equates to only twelve of her own, placing her outside standard biological frameworks.

Rana believes her continued biological stasis may be linked to quantum entanglement with Miu. Her theory suggests that as long as she remains temporally misaligned with her twin, her aging process is partially suspended. Whether this is a natural consequence of her displacement or an unintended side effect of temporal exposure remains unverified.

Much of Rana’s present conduct is shaped by regret. During earlier periods of instability, she participated in actions that destabilised timelines and endangered lives. Though she rarely discusses these events, she views her current role as both restitution and responsibility. Remaining behind while others enter cryostasis is not viewed as sacrifice, but as balance—a counterweight to past transgressions.

During the Ark Hyperion’s intergalactic transit, Rana remains fully conscious while most of the crew enters stasis. She serves as a long-term continuity guardian, tasked with maintaining temporal, structural, and operational stability throughout the journey. Her duties include monitoring cryogenic systems, overseeing automated maintenance cycles, and intervening in any anomaly that could compromise mission integrity.

She is not alone in this responsibility. Robotgirl remains active alongside her, providing system diagnostics, predictive failure modelling, and operational redundancy. Together, they form the Ark’s primary awake custodial unit.

Rana also maintains a personal vessel, the Sha’Korath, which serves as both refuge and stabilisation anchor. When isolation and temporal drift begin to affect her psychological state, the ship provides a controlled environment where she can recalibrate and reconnect with a sense of home.

Within Cerbshock, Rana occupies a unique position. She is neither fully operational staff nor detached observer. Instead, she functions as a temporal sentinel—watching, learning, recording, and adapting. Her extended observation of the crew has made her one of the most informed individuals regarding Cerbshock’s behavioural patterns, internal dynamics, and long-term evolution.

Her primary objective is simple but critical: ensure continuity.

When the Ark Hyperion’s crew awakens, systems will be stable. Records will be intact. History will remain coherent. No one will have been lost to error, neglect, or temporal collapse.

Rana does not seek recognition for this role. She views it as an obligation—one she willingly accepts. In a universe where time itself has failed her, she has chosen to become its guardian.

Lucas

Lucas is a young member of the Elvari (Elf) race whose origins and past remain largely unknown. He first encountered the Cerbshock crew during the London 2186 temporal displacement event, when multiple timelines intersected amid the Reaper invasion. Disoriented and separated from his point of origin, Lucas was discovered during the team’s pursuit of Robert Kean and taken into their protection.

Despite his blindness, Lucas demonstrated extraordinary situational awareness and physical capability. Through heightened sensory perception and advanced spatial intuition, he is able to navigate complex environments with remarkable precision. His movement, reaction speed, and combat awareness have frequently been compared to that of former crewmate Cian Lios, known for his “Space Ninja” proficiency, though Lucas achieves similar effectiveness through instinct and sensory adaptation rather than technological enhancement.

Lucas relies heavily on non-visual input, including auditory cues, environmental vibration, atmospheric changes, and subtle energy fluctuations. Whether this sensitivity is a natural trait of the Elvari species or a result of temporal exposure remains unclear. He has never provided detailed explanations regarding his abilities, choosing instead to demonstrate them through action.

Since joining Cerbshock, Lucas has remained quiet and reserved. He rarely speaks about his past, his homeworld, or the circumstances that led to his displacement. No personal logs have been recorded under his name, and he avoids prolonged discussion of his condition or background. This silence appears to be a personal choice rather than a lack of trust.

Within the crew, Lucas is respected for his calm presence, discipline, and reliability. He does not seek attention, leadership roles, or recognition. Instead, he operates effectively in support and frontline scenarios, responding instinctively to threats and adapting quickly to unfamiliar environments.

Though much about Lucas remains a mystery, his loyalty to Cerbshock is unquestioned. He represents the unknown future of the Elvari within the group—an individual shaped by displacement, resilience, and quiet strength.

In time, his story may unfold. Until then, Lucas remains one of Cerbshock’s most enigmatic and capable members, navigating both space and uncertainty without sight, yet never without direction.

Saosin Crankshaw

Saosin Crankshaw is a character marked with bad habits and struggles to be a better person. With a mouth that can end up looking like a shotgun, he's the kind of character where everything is fine, until it's not. He doesn't always explain himself well either, so it's a good thing that all he really needs to cool down is to take a walk, or if you don't have time for that, just stick him somewhere cold. He's happiest on a tropical beach with his toes in the sand, knee deep in some water. He's at his meanest when faced with "injustice." He's like a child in that respect, still believing that there is a way everyone can find peace, and the fact that things are not peaceful is overwhelming.

Saosin is a clone of a young boy who died years ago at age 17, sacrificed to a supposed god in the name of a divine ritual his mother made him for. This was not something he knew about, but was told of after awakening. The shock prompted Saosin to run off and take the first ship anywhere, and anywhere he went… right into a band of asteroid pirates snatching new crewmates. That's where he learned mechanical engineering and electronics. For the next 5 years, until he was 23, he stayed with them, until he left and started looking for something more professional. He's now in the apprenticeship program to be a properly licensed engineer. He might not have the popper authority to fix everything by himself, but he comes cheap and has no one that will ask questions if, you know… he doesn't come back at all!

Arjun Shaurya

Arjun Shaurya was born in a lost human colony ravaged by poverty and sickness. And at last, by space mercenaries that came to hide there from time to time, tripping with the last remains of the colony, offering something simple, to joy or to die: He chose to join. As a kid and a young man, he was trained to work with them, showing special talent for machinery and following precise orders. Maybe he was not the most extraordinary unit, but his capacity to coldly assess and execute the plan no matter what was a great thing, especially if they charged him for life, for shelter, for food. Arjun lives in perpetual debt towards his benefactors. And his little jobs were never enough.

He has traveled as a handyman in some spaceships, either as a member of security, a hired arm or an emergency engineer for those that require quick solutions with no questions. Other than food and certain amenities, everything he earns goes to his debt. And what he is provided back, papers to be whoever he needs to be, contacts to get whatever he needs to put out, to get a better job, to earn more, to give them more. It was a vicious circle. His studious and brilliant mind was exploited for them.

Until the accident.

Recently, a confrontation charred half of his body, leaving several damages on his skin and eye, and usually it won't be too hard to fix or to find prosthetics, he could even build them himself... If he had money... But money is the one resource he dosent have, too mangled to fight right now, he landed a job as an Engineer with a new crew, where his time working, and his credentials might support him as he recovers, and with some luck, he might even save enough to fix himself before it's too late... What will happen if he cannot pay for his life anymore, after all?

Merrick "Merry" Cassidy

Merrick “Merry” Cassidy was born on Bekenstein, one of humanity’s most affluent and culturally refined colonies, into a family whose legacy spanned medicine, theoretical physics, and classical music. Excellence was assumed rather than praised, and Merrick grew up with access to elite education, advanced facilities, and a future that was never in question. Medicine was both inheritance and the focus of his curiosities, and he demonstrated an early aptitude for biology and chemistry before gravitating toward xenobiology as humanity’s presence in the wider galaxy expanded. Unlike many of his peers, Merrick’s interest lay more exclusively in alien physiology, and how different cultures understood healing, trauma, and recovery.

Early in his career, Merrick chose to serve as a field medic, stepping away from the insulated academic environments expected of him. Working in active conflict zones alongside mixed-species teams reshaped his perspective on medicine. While capable under pressure and skilled in emergency triage, he came to see frontline care as inherently reactive: necessary, but limited. Over time, this realization led him to transition into research-focused work, specializing in xenobiology, applied chemistry, and experimental treatment models designed to function across vastly different species. His research philosophy emphasized adaptability, ethics, and the integration of psychological care into medical practice, particularly in extreme or unstable environments. Despite professional success and the security afforded by his upbringing, Merrick grew increasingly unsettled by the inevitability of his future on Bekenstein. Progress at home felt incremental and insulated, buffered by politics, prestige, and a lack of true consequence. When approached by the Cerberus/Initiative, he recognized the opportunity not merely as scientific exploration, but as a deliberate severing from certainty. Accepting meant abandoning comfort, reputation, and a guaranteed legacy in exchange for risk, irreversibility, and the chance to build medicine from first principles in an unforgiving frontier. Merrick’s decision was driven by conviction rather than recklessness. In a place like Andromeda, medicine would be essential to survival.

Warm, diplomatic, and observant, he is known for disarming humor and a calm, empathetic presence, often favoring conversation and small grounding rituals (tea, art, collected artifacts) as a means of maintaining his humanity amid uncertainty. His greatest flaw remains his deliberative nature, preferring careful analysis and counsel over rapid action, a trait that proves both strength and liability in a frontier where hesitation can carry real cost. Merrick Cassidy exists as a man who's mind constantly evolves, leaving behind privilege to redefine himself through contribution, rather than inheritance.

Kaelsen Veydran

Kaelsen Veydran is the cub and son of Tharos Blackmane, a renowned Korvahn warrior whose life became defined by his pursuit of justice and retribution against ExoGeni. The Korvahn are a leonine species known for their strength, heightened instincts, and deeply rooted traditions of honour, legacy, and earned identity.

Tharos was imprisoned in Purgatory for his relentless campaign against ExoGeni. When Cerbshock executed their breakout, Tharos fought alongside them, proving himself not only a survivor, but a powerful ally. Following their escape, he resumed his personal mission—tracking ExoGenis’s highest authority.

Before departing, Tharos entrusted his son to the Cerbshock crew. He did not ask for sympathy or protection out of fear, but out of foresight. He knew his path would likely end in sacrifice, and he refused to let his legacy be one of hatred alone.

Tharos ultimately succeeded in confronting Prime Helix’s leadership. The mission achieved its objective—but cost him his life.

Kaelsen was never burdened with the details of that final confrontation. What remains is the knowledge that his father fulfilled his purpose and chose to protect his future above all else.

Still young by Korvahn standards, Kaelsen carries himself with quiet confidence. He is reserved, observant, and occasionally cocky, reflecting both youthful bravado and inherited warrior pride. He speaks sparingly, preferring action to words, but shows deep respect for those who have earned it.

Within Korvahn culture, individuals undergo a formal renaming upon reaching maturity, symbolising the transition from cub to warrior. Kaelsen has already expressed his intention to follow this tradition, choosing a new name when he has proven himself worthy of it.

Under Cerbshock’s guidance, Kaelsen is being trained in combat discipline, tactical awareness, and emotional restraint. Senior crew members serve as mentors, helping him balance his natural aggression with judgement and cooperation.

Physically, he already exhibits early Korvahn traits—enhanced strength, reflexes, and resilience—which will continue to develop as he matures.

Unlike his father, Kaelsen is not driven by vengeance. Tharos’s sacrifice ensured that his son would not be consumed by the same cycle of retribution. Instead, Kaelsen represents renewal—a future shaped by choice, loyalty, and purpose rather than hatred.

Now aboard the Ark Hyperion and bound for Andromeda, Kaelsen carries his father’s legacy forward—not as a shadow, but as a foundation.

Toby Arcturus

Toby Arcturus did not choose colonial affairs because it was safe or prestigious. He chose it because he believed new worlds deserved more than optimism and a shipment schedule. Someone had to stay behind after the ribbon cuttings, to mediate disputes, ration supplies, and keep frightened people from turning on one another when the reality of isolation set in. He was good at it because he listened, and because he remembered that colonies were made of people long before they were ever called assets. Fehl Prime was where that belief took root.

It was an underfunded, easily overlooked world, the kind that only existed because someone insisted it should. Families were building homes that were meant to last. Supply routes finally stopped breaking down. Toby knew the colony officials well enough to argue with them, knew the hydroponics lead by first name, and once helped a teacher jury rig heaters so her classroom would not freeze during the first bad winter. For the first time, it felt like a place that might actually survive.

Toby had left Fehl Prime to settle a resource arbitration that should have taken three days and dragged into two weeks of bureaucratic gridlock. When the first calls went unanswered, he told himself it was a relay issue. When emergency protocols triggered, it was only for a second before the signal would go dark. No one had any idea who had been involved in the colonies disappearance. When Toby arrived, it was a ghost town, No evacuation beacon, no bodies, no signs of a struggle and no survivors. Just a name added to a list that kept getting longer of unexplained disappearances.

He did everything he was supposed to after that. Filed reports. Requested reviews. Asked the same questions until people stopped answering his messages altogether. Fehl Prime was reclassified as a restricted zone and its disappearance buried under shifting jurisdictions and quiet language. Colonial affairs did not fire him however, they just stopped trusting him with any assignments.

The drinking started as a way to sleep and became a way to forget as well as his credits started running low. He argued with dockworkers, snapped at transit officers, and picked fights he did not care to win. Some charges were dismissed. Others followed him. Eventually, it all caught up with him in a Citadel holding cell that smelled like recycled air and bad decisions. When they released him, they handed him a warning and a look that said he would not get another chance.

He was still standing on the walkway outside the detention center when Cerberus found him. The woman introduced herself as Mara Kincade. A sleek uniform, Cerberus emblem on the upper left chest, cold brown eyes and a voice that suggested she meant business. She did not offer a pitch. She offered a seat and a drink that was not alcoholic. When Toby tried to brush her off and tried to walk away, she said one word that stopped him cold.

“Fehl Prime.”

She did not know everything, and she did not pretend to. What she had were fragments. She explained that the Collectors were involved and they only had partial movement data. A timeline of events that matched his own unanswered reports with names trying to bury the whole incident since the colony vanished. She had enough evidence to prove she had been paying attention when others who were supposed to protect those worlds had moved on.

Mara did not promise justice or revenge. She did not pretend Cerberus were coming to the rescue. What she offered was relevance. A chance to matter again, and a way out that did not end with Toby drinking himself into an early grave on a station that barely remembered his name.

Cerberus did not recruit him as an operative. They stabilized him. Helped clear what charges they could, leaned on the rest, and quietly arranged for transport to Ark Hyperion as someone who understood what happened when colonies failed silently. Someone who would not look away.

Toby did not trust them. Not fully. But it was definitely better than his alternative and he'd might be able to do work he really enjoyed again.
